Purpose: This study was performed to compare the treatment outcomes between endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) and open surgical repair (OSR) of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs) in a South Korean population.
Materials And Methods: We performed a retrospective review of the medical records of 99 patients with AAAs who were managed at Gyeongsang National University Hospital between January 2005 and December 2014. We reviewed the demographic characteristics and perioperative treatment outcomes of patients with AAA undergoing EVAR or OSR.
Purpose: To examine seasonal variations in urinary symptoms in Korean men with lower urinary tract symptoms and benign prostatic hyperplasia (LUTS/BPH).
Materials And Methods: Records were obtained from a consecutive database of LUTS/BPH patients from March 2010 to February 2014. A total of 1,185 patients were suitable for analysis.
Objective: To evaluate the association of periurethral calcification (PUC) with urine flow rate and symptom severity in men with lower urinary tract symptoms-benign prostatic hyperplasia (LUTS-BPH).
Methods: The records of 1199 LUTS-BPH patients were obtained from a prospectively maintained database of men on their first visit from April 2010 to April 2013. Patients with incomplete data or comorbidities affecting voiding function were excluded.

Introduction And Hypothesis: Urinary nerve-growth-factor (NGF) level reflected the severity of urgency in patients with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) and pain in patients with Bladder pain syndrome/interstitial cystitis (BPS/IC). The aim of this study was to investigate the levels of biomarkers, nerve growth factor (NGF), and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) among disease groups sharing similar urinary symptoms and to elucidate which symptoms are related to individual biomarker levels.
Methods: We studied 83 patients with LUTS who visited our outpatient clinic from May 2011 to December 2012.
