Dupilumab, an anti-interleukin (IL)-4 receptor α-antibody, was approved in 2018 for the treatment of moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD) in Japan. Although real-world data have accumulated on the effectiveness and safety of dupilumab in patients with AD in the short term, real-world data on its long-term use are limited. In this study, we retrospectively investigated its effectiveness, safety and laboratory data in patients with AD who received dupilumab for 3 years.

It was reported that diabetes patients who took a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor (DPP4i), an oral antidiabetic drug, had an increased incidence of BP. However, data on DPP4i-related BP are limited.

Non-invasive tests, including the Fibrosis-4 (FIB-4) index, which can confidently rule out the presence of advanced fibrosis, are currently receiving attention. However, data on the FIB-4 index in psoriasis patients and the effects of biologics on the FIB-4 index are limited.

Recently, dupilumab was approved for AD, but its impact on work productivity in Japanese patients has not been reported. Furthermore, data on the effect of long-term treatment with dupilumab on work productivity are limited.

The first floristic list focusing on an inselberg in the Brazilian Amazon is presented here. We aimed to investigate floristic and phylogenetic connections among Neotropical inselbergs and analyze whether environmental variables act as a filter of plant lineages.

However, its usefulness as a prognostic biomarker for cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) has not been fully investigated.
Objective: Our objective was to investigate the relationship between the NLR and the disease-specific survival and SLN positivity in patients with cSCC.
The of the Serra dos Carajás, in Eastern Amazon, is home to a unique open plant community, harboring several endemic and rare species. Although a complete flora survey has been recently published, scarce to no genetic information is available for most plant species of the ironstone outcrops of the Serra dos Carajás. In this scenario, DNA barcoding appears as a fast and effective approach to assess the genetic diversity of the Serra dos Carajás flora, considering the growing need for robust biodiversity conservation planning in such an area with industrial mining activities.

In our department, concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) for ucSCC resulted in a 1-year survival rate similar to that of resectable cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC). Treatment involves continued chemotherapy after CCRT.

Because the MVC fixes the 3D tissue by vacuum pressure generated on multiple vacuum holes, it is expected that the MVC can fix 3D tissue to the system easily and mitigate the damage which can happen by handling during fixing. In order to decide optimum conditions for the size of the vacuum holes and the vacuum pressure, various sized vacuum holes and vacuum pressures were applied to a normal human cardiac fibroblast 3D tissue.

Given the expanded indication for combi-DT, management of pyrexia is a high priority. No previous case series has revealed which blood markers reflect the course of pyrexia and there is no consensus on the management strategy for pyrexia.
