Acute colonic pseudo-obstruction (ACPO) is characterized by significant colonic distension without a mechanical obstruction. We present a case of an 83-year-old male who developed ACPO following laparoscopic surgery for sigmoid volvulus. This report details the patient's postoperative journey, highlighting the diagnostic and management challenges encountered.

Sigmoid Colon Perforation in Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma Due to Tacrolimus-Induced Immunodeficiency: A Case Report.

The sigmoid colon is an uncommon site for the origin of primary malignant lymphomas in the GI tract. Additionally, immunosuppressive agents, widely used in treating autoimmune diseases, have been associated with the induction of malignancies, including lymphoproliferative disorders. In this report, we present a rare case of GI perforation suggesting a link between immunosuppressive therapy, particularly tacrolimus treatment, and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).

During thoracic cavity operations, it is difficult to obtain sufficient working space and good operative field visibility in patients with pectus excavatum because the space between the vertebral bodies and sternum is very narrow. Here, we report the successful treatment of esophageal cancer in a patient with pectus excavatum. A 77-year-old man with esophageal cancer was referred to our hospital for further treatment.

[Three cases of enteroenteric intussusception examined by three-dimensional computed tomography enteroclysis].

Three-dimensional computed tomography (3D CT) enteroclysis or virtual enteroscopy is a novel technique to explore the entire small bowel using a modified protocol of virtual colonoscopy by inflating the small bowel with air. In our hospital, the procedure is performed routinely for cases with suspected gross lesions. We performed 3D CT enteroclysis for three cases with enteroenteric intussusception bowel.
