Intraoperative lymphatic mapping and sentinel lymphadenectomy techniques were investigated in patients with early-stage breast cancer who did not have clinically palpable ALNs.
Methods: Forty-four patients with breast cancer underwent a sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB), followed by a complete axillary lymphadenectomy.
