The treatment of femoral neck fractures: results using cephalocervical screws with sliding mechanism.

Background: A new device for the treatment of femoral neck fractures that uses 2 cephalocervical screws in a sliding mechanism allowing linear intraoperative and postoperative compression has been developed.
