: To preliminarily investigate in patients with a primary complaint of non-acute knee pain for ≥ 1 month: 1) the proportion of patients with non-acute knee pain classified by Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) as Spinal Derangements, 2) the number of sessions taken to identify the concluding classification, and 3) the ability of MDT classifications, demographics, and symptomatic baselines to predict pain reduction at 1-month follow-up.: This study reviewed data from outpatients managed with MDT. For modeling knee pain reduction at the 1-month follow-up, 3 MDT provisional or concluding classifications (Spinal Derangement, Knee Derangement, and Non-Derangement) and the following variables were included: 1) gender, 2) symptom duration, 3) presence of low back pain (LBP), 4) the Japanese Knee Osteoarthritis Measure, 5) average pain intensity at the initial session using a 0-10 numerical rating scale, and 6) the Kellgren-Lawrence grade.

Ochratoxin A (OTA), ochratoxin B (OTB) and citrinin (CIT) in commercial foods were simultaneously determined and confirmed with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS). The samples examined were made up of cereal, fruit, coffee, and cacao products. The limits of quantification (S/N> or =10) of OTA, OTB and CIT were 0.

The content of potato glycoalkaloid (PGA) was investigated in 27 cultivars of raw potatoes and 31 potatoes in commercial foods with peel. The investigation of the 27 cultivars of potatoes showed different contents of glycoalkaloids. "May queen" and "Sherry" showed high contents of PGA (180 mg/kg and 320 mg/kg, respectively) among the raw potatoes of middle size (ca.

She had also experienced allergic symptoms such as itching and swelling of her lips, generalized urticaria, laryngeal tightness, stridor and dyspnea immediately after ingestion of raw and cooked seafood, including sole, horse mackerel, sea eel and shellfish, over the previous 1 year before referral. Skin prick tests and blood test for specific IgE antibodies were positive for many kinds of seafood, including sole, horse mackerel, sea eel, eel, crab, and abalone, which belonged to different taxonomic phyla, including Chordata, Arthropoda, and Mollusca.

To predict the side effects of vaccination, some skin tests are performed for patients with allergic diseases, though at present time there is no standard method. We have performed skin tests of measles vaccine by prick test with undiluted vaccine, 1 : 10 dilution, and/or intradermal test with 1 : 100 dilution. 75 cases of children with allergic diseases were assessed with more than two types of these skin tests.

Daily intake of isoflavones (daidzin, glycitin, genistin, daidzein, glycitein, and genistein) was determined quantitatively, based on the market basket method. Acid hydrolysis during extraction of foods was chosen to convert phytoestrogenes into the respective aglycons, facilitating HPLC analysis and allowing quantitation of total isoflavones as aglycones including both originally present glycosides and "free" aglycones. The isoflavones were extracted from samples with methanol and determined by reversed-phase HPLC analysis using a linear gradient of methanol-water as the eluent.
