Disability and function after arthroscopic repair of ulnar avulsions of the triangular fibrocartilage complex of the wrist.

Ulnar wrist pain due to a lesion of the triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) is frequent. Based on studies of the vascularity, (traumatic) ulnar avulsions can be sutured. Arthroscopic techniques have been designed but results are scarcely published.

Double dislocation of both interphalangeal joints in the finger. Case report and literature review.

The authors report a case of traumatic dislocation of both interphalangeal joints of the ring finger in a 29-year-old male patient, an injury sustained while playing soccer football. Reduction was achieved by closed manipulation, followed by splinting in the "intrinsic plus" position. The joints were stable but had not yet fully recovered their mobility at six months follow-up.

Total joint arthroplasty for osteoarthritis of the thumb basal joint.

A survey of 43 cemented arthroplasties of the trapeziometacarpal joint with a la Caffinière prosthesis in 40 patients is presented. A 70% patient satisfaction rate was obtained, with a mean DASH score of 24.2.

Chronic lunotriquetral dissociation: dorsal capsular reinforcement with a retinaculum flap.

The authors have used dorsal capsular reinforcement with a retinacular flap to treat 13 patients with chronic lunotriquetral instability. The patients, 8 female and 5 male with a mean age of 30 years, were reviewed by an independent observer after a mean follow-up of 3.2 years.

Traumatic lunotriquetral rupture in a 10-year-old girl.

We report a case of a symptomatic lunotriquetral ligament rupture in a 10-year-old girl. Diagnosis was confirmed by arthrography and successful surgical treatment was performed with a ligamentoplasty of a radially based flap of the retinaculum extensorum. We reviewed the current literature.
