Esophageal cancer in octogenarians: Should esophagectomy be done?

Introduction: Esophagectomy is the treatment of choice for esophageal cancer. In octogenarians data is conflicting. We evaluated postoperative outcomes and long-term survival of octogenarians and their younger counterparts.
