Data Literacy in Medical Education - An Expedition into the World of Medical Data.

With the advancing digitization in medicine, digital medical data is playing an increasingly important role in health care and research, which is why data literacy must already be taught in medical education. To this end, a 28-hour online elective for medical students - following a constructivist approach - has been implemented. It teaches learners different aspects of data literacy for a critical collection and use of sensitive medical data.
