The retina consists of various cell types arranged in eight cell layers and two membranes that originate from the neuroectodermal cells. In this study, the timing of differentiation and distribution of the cellular components and the layers of the rabbit retina are investigated using light and electron microscopy and immunohistochemical techniques. There were 32 rabbit embryos and 12 rabbits used.

Its dual origin involves the differentiation of surface ectoderm cells and the migration of mesenchymal cells of neural crest origin. This research aimed to demonstrate the morphogenesis of the rabbit cornea from fetal to postnatal life using light- and electron microscopy, and immunohistochemical analysis.

The intertubular tissue occupies a comparatively large portion of the camel testis ranging from about 24% in autumn to about 39% in spring. The volume percentages of the different intertubular tissue constituents, namely Leydig cells, blood vessels, lymph vessels and various connective tissue components, also display clear seasonal changes.

A positive exercise echocardiographic response was defined as the development of a new or worsening wall motion abnormality postexercise, compared with resting wall motion. Significant coronary disease (greater than 50% diameter stenosis) was present in 48 patients, 38 of whom had single-vessel disease and 10 of whom had two-vessel disease.

The corpus striatum of the cerebral hemisphere is carrying out automatic reflexes responsible for feeding, defence, and maintainance of pusture. Our studies were applied on 60 heads of goats from both sexes which were collected from Damanhour sloughter house and injected by 10% formalin through the common carotid artery and put in 10% formalin solution for 1 week. The corpus striatum consists of great basal nuclei and capsules, caudate nucleus, lentiform nucleus, claustrum, capsula interna, capsula externa, and amygdaloidea.

The histological features of STH- and LTH-cells during resting has been used to establish a standard with which the subsequent changes during the follicular and luteal periods were compared. Using PAS/OG, AB/OG and PFA/AB/PAS/OG stains, the STH- and LTH-cells were differentiated and identified from the other forms of the pars distalis cells.

A histomorphological examination has been made in the pars distalis of the pituitaries of twelve normal healthy sexually mature ewes which were classified into three groups (resting, follicular and luteal phase) according to the different phases of reproduction. The histological features of FSH- and LH-cells during anestrus has been used to establish a standard with which the subsequent changes during the follicular and luteal phases were compared. Using PAS/OG, AB/OG and PFA/AB/PAS/OG stains, the FSH- and LH-cells were differentiated and identified from the other forms of the pars distalis cells.

A histological examination has been carried on the pars distalis of the pituitaries of twelve, healthy sexually mature balady ewes which were classified into three groups Resting, follicular and luteal phases according to the different phases of reproduction. The histological features of the TSH- ACTH-cells during resting phase has been used to establish a standard with which the subsequent changes during the follicular and luteal phases were compared. Using PAS/OG, AB/OG and PFA/AB/PAS/OG stains the TSH- and ACTH-cells were differentiated and identified from the other forms of the pars distalis cells.
