Background: The best surgical approach for treating posterolateral fragments in tibial plateau fractures remains controversial. This study compared the radiological and functional outcomes of bicondylar tibial plateau fractures, with or without posterolateral fragments, treated using the same posteromedial and anterolateral approaches.
Methods: Twenty-six patients with 27 bicondylar tibial plateau fractures were surgically treated between June 2006 and February 2020.
: Percutaneous pedicle screws were first introduced in 2001, soon becoming the cornerstone of minimally invasive spinal stabilization. Use of the procedure allowed adequate reduction and stabilization of spinal injuries, even in severely injured patients. This decreased bleeding and shortened surgical time, thereby optimizing outcomes; however, postoperative correction loss and kyphosis still occurred in some cases.

Patients And Methods: Sixteen consecutive patients with Denis zone III sacral fractures who were treated between January 2009 and September 2016 were evaluated. All patients were treated using percutaneous TSTI/IS screw fixation during closed reduction performed with patients placed in a hyperextended supine position with body manipulation.
In blunt cerebrovascular injury, reported traumatic basilar artery occlusions have involved dissection of the basilar artery, distal embolization due to traumatic vertebral artery dissection, or entrapment of the basilar artery into the clivus fracture. To date, however, there are no reports of traumatic basilar artery entrapment without a clivus fracture. Here, we report the first case of traumatic basilar artery occlusion caused by entrapment into an originally existing bone defect.

Treatment of recurrent neuropathy, such as recurrent carpal tunnel syndrome and re-adhesion after neurolysis using free and pedicle flaps to cover the nerves, has been reported to show good results. However, for severe painful nerve disorders, such as complex regional pain syndrome, the efficacy of this treatment was unclear.

This results in diffuse general swelling, fetal hypovolemic shock, hypoalbuminemia, and hemoconcentration. Although ISCLS rarely induces cerebral infarction, we experienced a patient who deteriorated and was comatose as a result of massive cerebral infarction associated with ISCLS.

To identify downstream targets of these EWS-ETS fusion proteins, we introduced EWS-ETS fusion constructs into a human fibrosarcoma cell line by retroviral transduction. cDNA microarray analysis revealed that Id2 expression was up-regulated by introducing the EWS-ETS fusion gene but not by the normal full-length ETS gene.
