Background: SUNSHINE and SUNRISE demonstrated sustained clinical efficacy of secukinumab in patients with moderate-to-severe hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) through 52 weeks. Patients completing the core trials could enter a 4-year extension trial.

Methods: The study population included infants, children, and adolescents with TS who received Omnitrope® treatment according to standard clinical practice.
Background: Recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) therapy can affect carbohydrate metabolism and lead to impaired glucose tolerance during treatment. Methods: A 5-year prospective open-label study included children on glucocorticoid therapy with either standard deviation score (SDS)<-2 for height for chronological age (CA) if naïve to growth hormone treatment, or annual growth rate≥0 SDS for CA if currently receiving growth hormone.
Results: Ninety-eight patients began treatment, 63 discontinued; 59 were analyzed for safety and 58 for efficacy.
