Background: Stage III non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) being highly heterogeneous requires multimodal therapeutic strategies for optimal management. We present findings on treatment patterns and their associated survival outcomes in patients with stage III NSCLC from the Egypt subset of the KINDLE global real-world study conducted across countries from Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
Method: Retrospective data from the Egypt subset (21 centers) of adult patients diagnosed with stage III NSCLC between January 2013 and December 2017 were analyzed.
Globally, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the fourth most common cause of death from cancer. The prevalence of this pathology, which has been on the rise in the last 30 years, has been predicted to continue increasing. HCC is the most common cause of cancer-related morbidity and mortality in Egypt and is also the most common cancer in males.

Various factors should be taken into account while treating individual patients to ensure optimal and careful decision making. The purpose of this consensus review is to summarize the current practice patterns when managing patients with advanced prostate cancer (APC) as there is still a lack of or very limited evidence on its clinical management in some areas.

The aim of this study is to investigate efficacy and tolerability of the combination of lapatinib and capecitabine (LC) in HER2+ve BC patients with brain metastases (BCBM).
Patients And Methods: Between January 2011 and January 2013, 21 patients with HER2+ve BCBM were included.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate efficacy and toxicity of the dose-dense weekly paclitaxel (T) and carboplatin (C) in the management of platinum-resistant/sensitive recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) previously treated with 3 weekly paclitaxel/carboplatin.
Methods: Thirty two patients with recurrent EOC who had received 3 weekly TC before were enrolled. Nine patients relapsed within 6 months (platinum-resistant), 13 patients relapsed after 12 months (platinum-sensitive) and in 10 patients recurrence occurred between 6 and 12 months (intermediate platinum-sensitive).
Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of an all-oral vinorelbine and capecitabine combination therapy in anthracycline- ± taxane-pretreated HER2/Neu-negative metastatic breast cancer (MBC).
Methods: A phase 2 trial including women >18 years with HER2/Neu-negative MBC previously exposed to anthracycline- ± taxane-based chemotherapy in the adjuvant or neoadjuvant setting. Enrolled patients received oral vinorelbine 60 mg/m(2) on days 1 and 8 and oral capecitabine 1,000 mg/m(2) twice daily on days 1-14 on a 3 weekly schedule.
Purpose: The study was initiated to obtain epidemiologic data and information on anatomic and histologic distribution, clinical features, prognostic factors and treatment results in patients with primary gastrointestinal non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (PGI NHL).
Patients And Methods: We carried out analysis of 208 patients of PGI NHL during the time period from January 1997 to January 2007 at the Clinical Oncology Department, Tanta University Hospital to evaluate clinical features and treatment outcome.
Results: A total of 74.
Purpose: The objective of this phase II study was to document the activity and to evaluate the toxicity of docetaxel and cisplatin as induction chemotherapy followed by concurrent docetaxel and cisplatin with thoracic radiation in locally advanced stage III non small cell lung cancer.
Patients And Methods: Twenty-seven patients with stage III locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer received induction chemotherapy with two cycles of docetaxel 75mg/m2 and cisplatin 75mg/m2 D1 every 3 weeks. Patients without disease progress after induction chemotherapy were assigned to concurrent chemoradiotherapy 20mg/m2 docetaxel&25mg/m2 cisplatin administrated on day 1 every week for 6 weeks along with concurrent radiotherapy at a dose of 60Gy in 30 fractions (2 Gy/fraction and 5 fractions per week).
