Methods: 62 patients, with epigastric pain and/or dyspeptic symptoms, were grouped into, : (34) patients that had undergone cholecystectomy and : (28) patients who had undergone at least one of the following procedures for the treatment of benign pathology: endoscopic sphincterotomy and endoscopic stenting.
Ossified spinal meningiomas are a rare form of spinal tumors. These tumors increase surgical morbidities due to their hard consistency and strong adhesion to the neural tissue and relatively narrow surgical space. The main histological features of the nasal mucosa in choanal atresia are distorted cilia, marked increase of mucous submucosal glands associated with marked reduction of goblet cell density, and lymphocytic cellular infiltration.
