As a result of some chemical element (heavy metals) pollution of dust, environmental pollution of dust has become an increasing concern, necessitating an assessment of risks to both ecology and human health, particularly in urban areas. Most of these pollutants settle on the outdoors and eventually become part of the outdoor dust. These will have negative long-term repercussions on ecosystems and human health.

The obtained samples were subsequently shaped into nanocrystalline MgSe films, and their optical, structural, morphological, and electrical properties were assessed on glass and p-Si substrates. Structural and morphological characterizations showed that the fabricated thin film samples have a polycrystalline structure with high quality and uniform grain sizes.

This study presents a comprehensive comparative analysis of the electrical conductivity and dielectric relaxation of nanostructured MgFeO and its composites with PEG. Through experimentation, it was observed that incorporating PEG into MgFeO did not lead to a high relative observed decrease or increase in electrical conductivity at room temperature.

However, few studies have investigated the association between PFAS mixture exposure and Depression in general populations.
Methods: Nationally representative data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) (2005-2018) were used to analyze the association between PFAS and Depression in U.
Nanoplastics have been widely studied as environmental pollutants, which can accumulate in the human body through the food chain or direct contact. Research has shown that nanoplastics can affect the immune system and mitochondrial function, but the underlying mechanisms are unclear. Lungs and macrophages have important immune and metabolic functions.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA radiological baseline survey was conducted using a calculation analysis to assess the Ra, Th, K, and Cs distribution in beach sand samples collected from the coastal areas of the Mediterranean Sea. An analysis of the activity concentration of selected radionuclides was conducted. No evidence of recent migration of radiocaesium was found through precipitation, as well as indirect pathways, such as ocean runoff.

Correlations between shielding factors and kinetics properties of the investigated glasses at different photon energy have been examined. The highest values of mass (MAC) attenuation coefficient were noted at 15 keV of the examined TKW-glass materials with the values of 38.
