- This study tested the effects of diosmin (DS) along with phosphodiesterase inhibitors like sildenafil (Sild) and pentoxifylline (PTX) on HPS induced in rats by chronic bile duct ligation (CBDL).
- Results showed that these treatments, especially in combination, reduced harmful molecular changes and improved lung and liver health, indicating that DS enhances the effectiveness of Sild and PTX in treating HPS.
