FMS-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand (FLT3L), encoded by FLT3LG, is a hematopoietic factor essential for the development of natural killer (NK) cells, B cells, and dendritic cells (DCs) in mice. We describe three humans homozygous for a loss-of-function FLT3LG variant with a history of various recurrent infections, including severe cutaneous warts. The patients' bone marrow (BM) was hypoplastic, with low levels of hematopoietic progenitors, particularly myeloid and B cell precursors.

Objective: Mycoplasma genitalium (MG) infection accounts for 10-35% of non-gonococcal non-chlamydial (NGNC) urethritis. However, given that most people infected with MG do not develop symptoms and that antimicrobial resistance is increasing worldwide, there is no evidence of any benefits of screening asymptomatic individuals. We conducted this study to describe MG screening practices and outcomes at a French Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) center in which MG testing was performed selectively and multiplex assays were not carried out [i.

However, to date, no real-world study of sonidegib has been reported. An observational, retrospective, single-centre study (PaSoS study) was conducted.

We sought to assess the frequency of IR to vismodegib in laBCC and its underlying genomic mechanisms.
Experimental Design: Response to vismodegib was evaluated in a cohort of 148 laBCC patients.
The COVID-19 pandemic has spread worldwide, yet the role of antiviral T cell immunity during infection and the contribution of immune checkpoints remain unclear. By prospectively following a cohort of 292 patients with melanoma, half of which treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), we identified 15 patients with acute or convalescent COVID-19 and investigated their transcriptomic, proteomic, and cellular profiles. We found that ICI treatment was not associated with severe COVID-19 and did not alter the induction of inflammatory and type I interferon responses.

However, data regarding the influence of pharmacokinetic markers in real-life patients are lacking. In this study, we aimed to explore dabrafenib and trametinib pharmacokinetic impact on progression-free survival (PFS), duration of response (DOR) or all grades treatment-related adverse events (ARAE) occurrence in routine care patients.

We investigated whether processes underlying oxidative stress can be prevented in retinal organ cultures by an inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS)-inhibitor. To this end, porcine retinal explants were cultivated for four and eight days.

Among the extramammary forms of PD (EMPD), penoscrotal presentations are rarer than the vulvar and perianal forms. Once diagnosis has been confirmed by histopathological examination, a search for associated neoplasia must be conducted, although penoscrotal EMPD is less frequently associated with underlying neoplasia than mammary PD (MPD).

Most BCC can be cured with local treatments (surgery or topical therapies), but advanced or recurrent forms require specific therapies. Significant developments targeting the sonic hedgehog signalization pathway have been made in the past years, paving the way for new therapies.

Actinic cheilitis is a premalignant condition that can progress to squamous cell carcinoma with a higher propensity for metastasis than cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. Optimal treatment for actinic cheilitis has not been established, and evidence-based estimates of clinical cure in the dermatology literature are limited. Here, we review and synthesize outcome data published for patients with actinic cheilitis after treatment with various modalities.
