Background: In a phase 3 study of adults with active lupus nephritis, addition of voclosporin to mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) and low-dose glucocorticoids led to significant improvements in the proportion of participants achieving complete and partial renal response as well as sustained reduction in proteinuria. This analysis examined the efficacy and safety of voclosporin in a subgroup of the phase 3 study with proliferative lupus nephritis and high levels of proteinuria.

Methods: Participants were randomized to oral voclosporin (23.

Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of sarilumab over 5 years in patients with RA refractory to TNF inhibitors (TNFis).

Methods: Patients in the 24-week randomized controlled trial (RCT) TARGET (NCT01709578) who received double-blind placebo or sarilumab 150 or 200 mg every 2 weeks (q2w), plus conventional synthetic DMARDs (csDMARDs), were eligible to receive open-label sarilumab 200 mg q2w plus csDMARDs in the open-label extension (OLE), EXTEND (NCT01146652). OLE dose reduction to 150 mg q2w was permitted per investigators' judgement or protocol-mandated safety concerns.

Methods: Patients were aged >18 years and had 2 UC diagnosis codes, an infliximab index date between September 1, 2005, and January 31, 2008, and continuous enrollment for >12 months before and >14 months after the index date.
