Hemolytic Footprint of Rotodynamic Blood Pumps.

Objective: In preclinical examinations, rotodynamic blood pumps (RBPs) are predominantly evaluated at design-point conditions. In clinical practice, however, they run at diversified modes of operation. This study aimed at extending current preclinical evaluation of hemolytic profiles in RBPs toward broader, clinically relevant ranges of operation.
