In many pests, insecticide efficacy is dependent on environmental conditions, including ambient temperature. However, it remains unknown if thermal history alters sub-lethal effects to potentially enhance or reduce pesticide resistance in the false codling moth (FCM), Thaumatotibia leucotreta.
