Purpose: To assess risk factors for perineal tears, wound infection and dehiscence among primiparous women.

Methods: A prospective cohort study at four Danish hospitals (Odense, Esbjerg, Aarhus and Kolding) among 603 primiparous women sampled in three groups: 203 with none/labia/1st degree, 200 with 2nd degree, and 200 with 3rd/4th degree tears included between July 2015 and January 2018. Baseline data were obtained and a clinical examination of perineal wound healing was performed 11-21 days postpartum.

Background And Objectives: The measurement of tumor regression after neoadjuvant oncological treatment has gained increasing interest because it has a prognostic value and because it may influence the method of treatment in rectal cancer. The assessment of tumor regression remains difficult and inaccurate with existing methods. Dual Energy Computed Tomography (DECT) enables qualitative tissue differentiation by simultaneous scanning with different levels of energy.

Objectives: The aims of the study were to describe and to assess the size of labia minora in normal women, including the women's perception of their genitals to offer better counseling to the women seeking for labiaplasty.

Materials And Methods: This cross-sectional study was undertaken in the outpatient clinic at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Kolding Medical Center between May 2012 and October 2013, when study participants were recruited in connection with their routine visits. Main outcomes of interest were visibility and width of the patients' labia minora.

Pseudoxanthoma elasticum (PXE) is a rare inherited systemic disorder characterized by progressive calcification in the elastic tissue. Information about pregnancy in women with PXE is sparse. We report of a 36-year-old Caucasian woman, diagnosed with PXE, with a dichorionic diamniotic twin pregnancy, whose antenatal ultrasound scans showed a hyperechogenic placenta due to calcification.
