In the title compound, C(21)H(23)NO, obtained via a one-pot synthesis, an intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond stabilizes the mol-ecular conformation. The dihedral angle between the fused ring system and the phenyl ring is 78.27 (5)°.
