Background: Well-differentiated thyroid cancer includes papillary thyroid, follicular thyroid, and Hurthle cell cancers, comprising approximately 95% of all thyroid cancers in the United States. This study aims to understand well-differentiated thyroid cancer in the Asian population.
Methods: We analyzed the National Cancer Database from 2004 to 2019, categorizing the Asian population based on the available ethnicities.
Background: Parathyroidectomy has been shown to be superior to medical management in treating hypercalcemia and preserving renal allograft function in patients with tertiary hyperparathyroidism after kidney transplant. Despite this evidence, parathyroidectomy remains underused. We aimed to evaluate outcomes in patients with tertiary hyperparathyroidism after kidney transplant based on management strategy (cinacalcet or parathyroidectomy) and optimal timing of parathyroidectomy.

We sought to clarify socioeconomic and patient factors that affect access to care for pediatric differentiated thyroid cancer and aggressive variants of papillary thyroid cancer.
Methods: Using the National Cancer Database, we performed a retrospective study on pediatric differentiated thyroid cancer and aggressive variants of papillary thyroid cancer (2004-2019).
Pediatric thyroid carcinoma is on the rise. We sought to better characterize patient factors associated with this and evaluate for trends based on age groups. Additionally, we examined surgical management over time, and whether it aligns with recommendations made by the American Thyroid Association.
