Esophageal carcinoma (EC) is one of the most common malignant tumors in the world. ECRG4 has been recently discovered to be downregulated in EC. However, the mechanism leading to reduced expression of ECRG4 in esophageal cancer remains obscure.

Improvement of interface bonding of bacterial cellulose reinforced aged paper by amino-silanization.

The aging of paper seriously threatens the service life of cultural heritage documents. Bacterial cellulose (BC), which has a good fiber aspect ratio and is rich in hydroxyl groups, is suitable for strengthening aged paper. However, a single BC added was not ideal for paper restoration, since only strengthening was not able to resist the persistent acidification of ancient book.

An all-electronic physical random number generator at rates up to 80  Gbit/s is presented, based on weakly coupled GaAs/Ga0.55Al0.45As superlattices operated at room temperature.
