Serum Natrium Determines Outcome of Treatment of Advanced GIST with Imatinib: A Retrospective Study of 80 Patients from a Single Institution.

Treatment with tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) has drastically improved overall survival (OS) of patients with advanced GIST. The aim of this study is to evaluate the results of treatment with different TKIs on advanced GIST and identify prognostic factors for OS. The medical records of all patients treated at the Department of Oncology, Aarhus University Hospital were retrospectively reviewed.
