Background: Point-of-care ultrasound can be used to assess muscle thickness. However, its reliability has not been fully evaluated.
Aim: This study aimed to assess the intrarater and inter-rater reliability of point-of-care ultrasound for the estimation of quadriceps and rectus femoris thickness in patients from a rehabilitation setting.
Introduction: The Handheld Dynamometer (HHD) has the potential to overcome some of the logistic and economic limitations of isokinetic dynamometers for measuring knee extension muscle strength. However, its reliability has not been fully assessed. The purpose of this study is to measure intra and inter-rater reliability of HHD for knee extension strength in patients receiving rehabilitation treatment, as well as to understand in which conditions is the reliability higher.

Introduction And Objectives: During the COVID-19 pandemic, among the safety measures adopted, use of facemasks during exercise training sessions in cardiac rehabilitation programs raised concerns regarding possible detrimental effects on exercise capacity. Our study examined the cardiorespiratory impact of wearing two types of the most common facemasks during treadmill aerobic training.
Methods: Twelve healthy health professionals completed three trials of a symptom-limited Bruce treadmill protocol: Without a mask, with a surgical mask and with a respirator.

Methods: Based on the results of a health diagnosis related to active aging, a prioritization process was conceived to select the priority intervention problem. The process comprised four successive phases of problem analysis and classification: (1) grouping by level of similarity, (2) classification according to epidemiological criteria, (3) ordering by experts, and (4) application of the Hanlon method.
