Image dataset: Year-long hourly façade photos of a university building.

This dataset presents 9596 photos of the East and West façades of a university building in Barcelona (Spain). Images were taken every hour for one year with two identical GoPro Hero 10 cameras. The façades are composed of a grid of 28×7 windows in the East and 28×6 windows in the West.

Data set of climatic factors measured in a low latitude region with warm and humid climate: Solar radiation, cloud cover and sky temperature.

The data contained in this article refers to the measurements of climatic factors during an entire year in low latitudes regions with warm and humid climates, in Santa Rosa city from Ecuador. Since the geographical location and the importance of cloudiness in these regions, these measurements have focused on the solar radiation flux, cloud cover and sky temperature. The data obtained have been configured in a weather file for energy calculations, which has been used in the research article "Assessment of the reflectivity and emissivity impact on light metal roofs thermal behaviour, in warm and humid climate" [1].

Human thermal comfort conditions and urban planning in hot-humid climates-The case of Cuba.

Climate regional characteristics, urban environmental conditions, and outdoors thermal comfort requirements of residents are important for urban planning. Basic studies of urban microclimate can provide information and useful resources to predict and improve thermal conditions in hot-humid climatic regions. The paper analyzes the thermal bioclimate and its influence as urban design factor in Cuba, using Physiologically Equivalent Temperature (PET).
