Diprosopus is one of the rarest types of conjoined twins, caused by incomplete zygote separation in early pregnancy. It defines a condition with duplication of facial structures, monocephalic and 1 trunk. Early detection is difficult, but fetal MRI plays an important role in strengthening antenatal diagnosis of conjoined twin pregnancies and other major congenital abnormalities, complementing antenatal ultrasonography.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFBackground: Trigger digits or stenosing tenosynovitis comprise a pathologic condition of the fingers caused by inflammation and thickening of the synovial tendon sheaths. Treatment of trigger digits is performed to relieve pain and improve function of the affected fingers.
Case: A 64-year-old male patient, with pain (visual analogue scale [VAS] score of 5) and stiffness in the fifth finger of his right hand.
Aims: The use of non-invasive and easily available assessment tools such as the ADA diabetes risk test is recommended for diabetes screening among general population. This study aims to assess the validity of the ADA diabetes risk test in screening for screening hyperglycemia in Indonesian population.
Methods: This cross-sectional study conducted at primary health care in Cibeber sub district at Cilegon city, Banten province, Indonesia.
Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a global pandemic spreading worldwide. Limited studies showed that smokers were at higher risk of having severe complications and higher mortality. We aimed to analyze the possible correlation between adult tobacco smoking prevalence and COVID-19 mortality all over the world.

This study aimed to assess the prevalence of blood lead levels (BLLs) among children 1 to 5 years old who reside near and distant to informally used lead-acid battery (ULAB) recycling locations and examine risk factors for elevated BLLs. A cross-sectional study was conducted in three greater Jakarta neighborhoods where informal ULAB recycling occurs. Venous BLLs among 279 children were analyzed using portable blood lead testing machines.
