White noise use among children undergoing sound field audiometry: A preliminary study.

Objective: To describe the prevalence of routine white noise exposure in children who undergo sound field audiometry.

Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted at a pediatric otolaryngology clinic affiliated with an academic tertiary care hospital. The medical records of children who underwent sound field audiometry were reviewed and data was collected regarding demographics and audiogram results.
