Study Objective: To compare the adverse effect profiles of adenosine and regadenoson in patients undergoing outpatient cardiac stress testing.
Design: Single-center retrospective cohort study.
Setting: Two outpatient clinics, both of which are part of a single tertiary academic medical health system; one clinic exclusively used adenosine for cardiac stress testing, and the other clinic exclusively used regadenoson.

Purpose: The acuity adjustment metric that correlates most closely with actual medication expense at a large, tertiary care academic medical center was investigated.
Methods: This evaluation was conducted at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. All inpatient discharges between July 1, 2012, and March 31, 2013, were included in this study.
