Acupuncture points have a notable characteristic in that they have a higher density of mast cells (MCs) compared with nonacupoints in the skin, which is consistent with the augmentation of the immune function by acupuncture treatment. The primo vascular system, which was proposed as the anatomical structure of the acupuncture points and meridians, also has a high density of MCs. We isolated the primo nodes from the surfaces of internal abdominal organs, and the harvested primo nodes were stained with toluidine blue.

In this work, high-quality h-BN monolayers were grown in wafer scale (7 × 7 cm(2)) on Cu substrates by using low-pressure chemical vapor deposition (LPCVD). We created h-BN monolayers that were free of polymeric aminoborane (BH2NH2) nanoparticles, which are undesirable by-products of the ammonia borane precursor, by employing a simple filtering system in the CVD process.

The primo vascular system (PVS) in a lymph system was observed mostly in large caliber ducts around the caudal vena cava of rabbits, rats, and mice. This required a severe surgery with laparectomy and massive removal of fat tissues in the abdomen to expose the lymph vessel. In the current brief report, we presented a new method to evade these shortcomings by observing the PVS in a less large caliber duct in the skin, that is, the lymph vessel from the inguinal to the axillary nodes.
