Fatal systemic infection by Clostridium tarantellae in a wild Korean raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides koreensis) was diagnosed based on histopathology, immunofluorescence, PCR, and microbiome taxonomic profiling. Pathologic features were similar to Tyzzer's disease caused by C. piliforme.

Objective: Our purposes were to determine whether a single application of radiofrequency energy to normal bone can create coagulation necrosis reproducibly and to assess the accuracy of MRI at revealing the extent of radiofrequency-induced thermal bone injury.
