Cerebral hyperperfusion syndrome (CHS) is a serious complication after bypass surgery in Moyamoya disease (MMD), with autoregulatory dysfunction being a major pathogenesis. This study investigated the change of perioperative autoregulation and preoperative prognostic potentials in MMD with postoperative CHS. Radiation therapy is a crucial cancer treatment, but it can damage healthy tissues, leading to side effects like skin injuries and molecular alterations. This study aimed to elucidate histological and molecular changes in canine skin post-radiation therapy (post-RT) over nine weeks, focusing on inflammation, stem cell activity, angiogenesis, keratinocyte regeneration, and apoptosis. HfZrO (HZO) thin film exhibits ferroelectric properties and is presumed to be suitable for use in next-generation memory devices because of its compatibility with the complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) process. This study examined the physical and electrical properties of HZO thin films deposited by two plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition (PEALD) methods- direct plasma atomic layer deposition (DPALD) and remote plasma atomic layer deposition (RPALD)-and the effects of plasma application on the properties of HZO thin films. The initial conditions for HZO thin film deposition, depending on the RPALD deposition temperature, were established based on previous research on HZO thin films deposited by the DPALD method.

We assessed the levels of fecal contamination and the originating species of 12 major inland pollutants in the drainage basin of Yeoja Bay. The presence of the human-specific (HF183), ruminant-specific (BacR and Rum-2-Bac), pig-specific (Pig-Bac-2 and Pig-2-Bac), avian-specific (GFD), and gull-specific (Gull2) markers in water samples (n = 34) from 12 inland pollution sources around Yeoja Bay was analyzed. HF183 was detected in 97% of the water samples, and all major inland pollution sources were contaminated with human feces.

In this study, we designed, prepared, and characterized Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic (LTCC) toxic gas sensor devices with nanostructured SnO₂ semiconducting thick films. In order to promote the reaction of carbon monoxide (CO) toxic gas molecules on the SnO₂ thick films, a RuO₂ planar heater was inserted into the LTCC substrate. Using an optimized RuO₂ heater, the surface temperature of the LTCC substrate reached 360 °C within 25 seconds at an applied voltage of 5 V.
