Ranitidine is a drug, which seldom causes adverse reactions, nevertheless, allergic reactions have been described varying in type and intensity after its administration. In contrast to other drugs, there are not many validated and standardized diagnostic tests in order to demonstrate this drug produces an allergic reaction. In this article we present a 9-months-old girl with a ranitidine allergic reaction with the diagnosis established by a non-intentional challenge test.
