Background And Objectives: Nonpharmacologic interventions have demonstrated benefits for people living with dementia and their caregivers. Few studies have evaluated their implementation in real-world settings. Using normalization process theory (NPT), an implementation science framework, this study evaluated the acceptability of the care of persons with dementia in their environments (COPE) intervention by care managers and interventionists implemented in a Medicaid and state-revenue funded home and community-based services (HCBS) program.
