Article Synopsis
  • Danhong injections (DHI) are effective for treating acute myocardial infarction (AMI) but there are no guidelines on when to administer them during the peri-percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) period.
  • A review of 23 randomized controlled trials showed that using DHI improves patient outcomes compared to traditional treatments, particularly when given during and after the procedure.
  • DHI not only reduces adverse cardiac events and inflammatory factors but also enhances cardiac function, suggesting it should be given early and continued after surgery for maximum effectiveness.

Article Synopsis
  • - The study focuses on Hou Gu Mi Xi (HGMX), a dietary TCM formula, to assess its effectiveness and safety in treating Spleen qi deficiency (SQD) in patients who have undergone radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer, which is a common postoperative issue.
  • - It's a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involving 130 participants for two years, measuring various outcomes like SQD symptoms, quality of life, performance status, body weight, and adverse events.
  • - The results may provide valuable evidence for HGMX as a potential complementary treatment for managing chronic complications after radical gastrectomy in gastric cancer patients.

This study left flavonoids and alkaloids Chinese herbal monomer with common parent nucleus as cream base carriages drug respectively, cream base were prepared with stable span 60-tween 80 emulsification system. The near-infrared stability analysis technology was performed to quantitatively characterize the physical stability of cream. Base on the theory of gel network structure, theory of emulsification, theory of solubility parameter and theory of double layer, the influence mechanism of Chinese herbal monomer on physical stability of cream was discussed.
