To clarify the effects of selenium level on the risk of gastric cancer (GC) and GC mortality, a meta-analysis was performed. Related studies were identified from PubMed, EMBASE, Springer Link, Ovid, Chinese Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), and Chinese Biology Medicine (CBM). Pooled ORs and 95% CIs were used to assess the strengthof the associations.

Objectives: Concurrent chemoradiotherapy in well-selected locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer (LANSCLC) is considered as standard therapy. However, the choice of anticancer agents is still unresolved. Twelve patients with locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma were enrolled to evaluate the safety and efficacy of concurrent chemo-radiotherapy. Dose-limiting toxicity was mainly observed at Capecitabine 1500 mg. The maximum-tolerated dose/recommended dose of Capecitabine was 1000 mg.
