Background: Virtual noncontrast (VNC) images generated by dual-layer spectral computed tomography (DLCT) remove iodine influence from enhanced images to simulate true noncontrast (TNC) images. Previous research has demonstrated the high comparability of abdominal VNC images with TNC images, suggesting their potential as substitutes. Given the thyroid's significant iodine content, this study evaluated the efficacy of VNC images for removing both intrinsic and extrinsic iodine through an analysis of computed tomography (CT) attenuation and iodine density in TNC and enhanced VNC thyroid images.

This study aimed to investigate the expression and clinical implications of YY1 in DLBCL.
Methods: YY1 expression in 198 cases of DLBCL was determined using immunohistochemistry.
Objective: To explore the rules of acupoint selection and drug use in treatment of hypertension with acupoint application therapy.
Methods: The articles of the clinical research of hypertension treated with acupoint application therapy were retrieved from Chinese journal full-text database (CNKI), VIP database (VIP) and Wanfang databases from the time of establishment to January 20, 2019. The database was set up with Microsoft Excel 2010.
Objective: To investigate the changes of hipbone biomechanics after the resection of ischiopubic tumors and their relationships with the complications in the convalescent stage, and directing the postoperative pelvic reconstruction.
Methods: DICOM data were used to create an intact hipbone finite element model and postoperative model. The biomechanical indices on the same region in the two models under the same boundary condition were compared.
Objective: To investigate the anatomical relationships of facial nerve canal related to middle ear and mastoid surgery by multi-slice computed tomography (MSCT) and its multiplanar reconstruction ( MPR) technology.
Methods: High-resolution CT scanning with multislice spiral CT of temporal bones without bone abnormality of 373 ears in 187 adult patients were examined. All original images were processed by MPR.
