Background: The COVID-19 pandemic necessitated educational institutions adopting online learning as a measure to limit the spread of the virus. When restrictions were eased, teaching and learning at higher education institutions returned to face-to-face teaching and learning. Although there have been studies on the experiences of diagnostic radiography students with online teaching and learning, there is a lack of research on students' experiences when transitioning back to face-to-face teaching and learning.

Introduction: Artificial intelligence has permeated all aspects of our existence, and medical imaging has shown the burgeoning use of artificial intelligence in clinical environments. However, there are limited empirical studies on radiography students' use of artificial intelligence for learning and assessment. Therefore, this study aimed to gain an understanding of this phenomenon.

Introduction: Malawi health facilities' major challenge is inequalities in access to reporting services due to a shortage of radiologists to report on radiographic images. Radiographers in the developed world acquire formal training in image reporting, however, there is no postgraduate training programme in Malawi. Thus, there is a need to explore radiographers' perceptions of reporting chest images in Malawi's hospitals.

Introduction: Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, healthcare workers (HCWs) were found to be at a greater risk of becoming infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS-CoV-2). This disease is highly contagious and is for the most part preventative if correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used while attending to patients. Subsequently, a lack of PPE in South Africa was putting the lives of health care workers at risk impacting on the functioning of the healthcare system.

Introduction: A clinical educator (CE) is responsible for the clinical training and supervising of students to acquire skills and knowledge during Work Integrated Learning (WIL). The CE can have a positive or negative influence on students depending on their clinical and interpersonal attributes. Introduction: Simulation-based education (SBE) can replicate the challenging aspects of real-world clinical environments, while providing a safe and less intimidating setting. Literature supports its use within medical radiation science (MRS) training for safe practice of psychomotor skills, development of problem solving, team working, interpersonal and decision-making skills and embedding awareness of patient safety. This project aimed to quantify usage of SBE resources and activities internationally and to evaluate how this changed during COVID-19 restrictions.
