Background: Graduate nursing programs were encouraged to map their curriculum to the Quality and Safety Education in Nursing (QSEN) graduate knowledge, skills, and attitudes (KSA) competency statements.

Purpose: Evaluation of the alignment between the 2009 QSEN graduate KSA competency statements and the 2021 American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Essentials advanced-level (Level 2) subcompetencies is needed to support curricular transition to competency-based education and the Essentials.

Methods: A team of 5 nursing education experts engaged in multiple rounds of review to seek consensus in determining alignment between the 2009 QSEN graduate KSA competency statements and the 2021 AACN advanced-level subcompetencies.

The AACN expectation to prepare DNP graduates with EBP and QI competencies using the project was clarified with the 2015 White Paper and these expectations have not changed with the new Essentials. Evidence suggests DNP projects continue to be a mix of research and QI. In the Southern Great Plains, wheat cultivars have been selected for a combination of outstanding yield and drought tolerance as a long-term breeding goal. To understand the underlying genetic mechanisms, this study aimed to dissect the quantitative trait loci (QTL) associated with yield components and kernel traits in two wheat cultivars `TAM 112' and `Duster' under both irrigated and dryland environments. A set of 182 recombined inbred lines (RIL) derived from the cross of TAM 112/Duster were planted in 13 diverse environments for evaluation of 18 yield and kernel related traits.

The nascent field of microbiome science is transitioning from a descriptive approach of cataloging taxa and functions present in an environment to applying multi-omics methods to investigate microbiome dynamics and function. A large number of new tools and algorithms have been designed and used for very specific purposes on samples collected by individual investigators or groups. Background: Although efforts have been made to improve and integrate an HIV curriculum in schools of nursing, little has been done to standardize the integration of competencies related to HIV care in primary care nurse practitioner (NP) programs.

Background: Epicuticular wax (EW) is the first line of defense in plants for protection against biotic and abiotic factors in the environment. In wheat, EW is associated with resilience to heat and drought stress, however, the current limitations on phenotyping EW restrict the integration of this secondary trait into wheat breeding pipelines. Background: Intubation in hypotensive emergency department (ED) patients may increase the risk of life-threatening complications such as hypoperfusion and cardiovascular collapse.
