Within the scope of this study, a polymer-based optical sensor that can polymerize under UV radiation and produce fluorescence when suitable functional monomers and crosslinkers were prepared for aluminum determination in yogurt, soybean flour, and meat samples. Parameters such as operating range, pH, sensitivity, selectivity, determination limit, and foreign ion effect were thoroughly investigated to validate the developed method and characterize this polymer-based membrane. The designed sensor has wavelengths of 322 nm for fluorescence excitation and 356 nm for emission, respectively.

Employing a sample of 415 married individuals, the research utilized a correlational model to examine the predictive capacity of marital mindfulness. Case Presentation: This report presents two pediatric cases: a 30-month-old girl with maple syrup urine disease (MSUD) experiencing AD secondary to severe isoleucine deficiency due to a protein-restricted diet, showing improvement with dietary adjustments, and a 2.5-month-old boy infant with propionic acidemia (PA) who developed AD alongside septic shock, which progressed despite intervention.

Subcutaneous emphysema, caused by the presence of air or gas in subcutaneous tissues, can be infectious or noninfectious. A thorough clinical evaluation, including both physical examination and radiological imaging, is required to distinguish benign subcutaneous emphysema from necrotizing soft tissue infections. In this article, we report a 12-year-old female patient with benign subcutaneous emphysema of the upper extremity and highlight the importance of an accurate diagnosis to avoid unnecessary surgical intervention.

Multiple primary lung cancers (MPLC) are defined as lung cancers that develop at the time of primary lung cancer detection (synchronous) or during the follow-up period (metachronous). The incidence of MPLC is increasing due to the early detection of lesions by widespread screening methods, improved surgical, medical, and radiation treatment options, and increased survival.
