Background: Saudi nursing students are trained in theoretical and clinical nursing competencies for four years before transition to newly graduated nurses through a one-year internship program. The transition period is crucial as nursing students have low confidence without adequate clinical experience.
Objectives: Validate and culturally adapt the Arabic version of the Self-Efficacy for Clinical Evaluation Scale (SECS) and explore nursing interns perceived confidence (self-efficacy).

Background: Hysteroscopy is an operation in which the gynaecologist examines the uterine cavity using a small telescopic instrument (hysteroscope) inserted via the vagina and the cervix. Almost 50% of hysteroscopic complications are related to difficulty with cervical entry. Potential complications include cervical tears, creation of a false passage, perforation, bleeding, or simply difficulty in entering the internal os (between the cervix and the uterus) with the hysteroscope.

Despite available studies supporting standard hormone therapy for women with endometriosis and post-surgical menopause, there is still a concern that estrogens may induce a recurrence of the disease and its symptoms.
Objectives: This review aimed to look at pain and disease recurrence in women with endometriosis who used hormone therapy for post-surgical menopause.
Objective: To evaluate insulin responses to the oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) in women of different ethnic origins diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Methods: We evaluated 92 women diagnosed with PCOS. Their ethnic origins were Western European (n = 41), Middle Eastern (n = 18), African American (n = 15), East Indian (n = 9), and South American (n = 9).
Objective: To evaluate the overall quality of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART)-affiliated fertility clinic websites, according to American Medical Association (AMA) Internet health information guidelines.
Design: Cross-sectional evaluation.
Setting: Two hundred sixty-six websites drawn from the SART directory and the World Wide Web.
Objective: To compare the effects of the aromatase inhibitor letrozole (7.5 mg) and clomiphene citrate (CC; 100 mg) in women undergoing superovulation and IUI.
Design: Prospective randomized trial.
No nerve fibers are found in endometriomas or in the endometrioma-containing ovaries. These findings are consistent with our previous report that no correlation exists between the presence of nerve fibers and endometriosis.

Methods: A prospective comparative study involving 3 groups of 50 couples each. The first group consisted of infertile couples with repeated treatment failure (group FT), the second group consisted of infertile couples who had never attempted any medical treatment (group NT), and the third was a control group of couples with at least 1 child and no history of infertility.
Advances in cancer therapy have improved the long-term survival of young patients suffering from malignancies. However, the adverse effects of the treatment are sterility and loss of gonadal function especially in females. Preservation of fertility in males by sperm freezing is more practical and already established.

To evaluate lateral distribution of endometriosis and ovarian endometrioma in women with endometriosis. We evaluated operative reports of women who underwent laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis (n = 330) and ovarian endometrioma (n = 185) from January 1996 to January 2002. Data on all operative findings consisted of a written report, a diagram, the revised American Fertility Society classification of endometriosis, and a printout of the dictated report.

Unlabelled: Uterine artery embolization (UAE) is an effective technique for the management of uterine myoma. However, complications of this procedure can be serious, including uterine infection and bowel necrosis in conjunction with necrosis of subserous or pedunculated myomas. Treatment failure is more likely to occur in the presence of submucosal myoma associated with a uterine infection or a large myoma of more than 8 cm.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare inpatient hospital costs of different treatments of uterine fibroid tumors, including myomectomy, hysterectomy, and uterine artery embolization in a teaching hospital.
Study Design: We reviewed the hospital database of 545 women with uterine fibroid tumors who were treated with abdominal myomectomy, total abdominal hysterectomy, vaginal hysterectomy, and uterine artery embolization between April 1997 and October 2001.
Results: Women who underwent hysterectomies and uterine artery embolization were significantly older than the women who underwent myomectomy.
Purpose Of Review: The purpose of this review is to evaluate the indications, and the safety and efficacy of operative laparoscopy in pregnancy with a particular attention to the pregnancy outcome.
Recent Findings: Hemodynamics changes during laparoscopic surgery in pregnancy are similar to those observed in the nonpregnant state. The procedure appears to be safe and reduces hospital admissions and frequency of premature labor.
