Porto Sinusoidal Vascular Disorder: A Case Report.

Background: Porto sinusoidal vascular disease (PSVD) is an unusual vascular disorder defined by raised portal venous pressure without cirrhosis or other common causes of liver pathology. The disease pathogenicity is not well understood.

Case Report: We report a rare case of Porto Sinusoidal Vascular Disorder (PSVD).

Objectives: To determine the prevalence and risk factors for neonatal jaundice among neonates admitted in three large hospitals in Mogadishu, Somalia.

Design: Hospital-based analytical cross-sectional study.

Setting: Neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) of three tertiary hospitals in Mogadishu, Somalia.
