The synthesis, characterization, and electronic properties of 4-((7-methoxyquinolin-4-yl)oxy), 4-(quinolin-2-ylthio), and 4-((7-(trifluoromethyl)quinolin-4-yl)thio) peripherally substituted oxo-titanium phthalocyanines are described for the first time. The structures of the compounds were determined by UV-Vis, FTIR, 1H NMR, and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. Electronic spectra and molecular and electronic properties of compounds were calculated by Density Functional Theory (DFT) and Time-Dependent Density Functional Theory (TD-DFT) methods.

Method: In accordance with the purpose of the study, volunteers were asked to consume 100 ml of the extract every morning for 29 days. Three tubes of blood samples were taken from the volunteers on the 15th and 29th days of the study. Biochemical and hematological analysis of the blood samples were performed and immunomodulatory effects through cytokines were examined.
The lifetime incidence of kidney stones is 6%-12% in the general population. Nephrolithiasis is a known cause of acute and chronic kidney injury, mediated via obstructive uropathy or crystal-induced nephropathy, and several modifiable and non-modifiable genetic and lifestyle causes have been described. Evidence for epidemiology and management of nephrolithiasis after kidney transplantation is limited by a low number of publications, small study sizes and short observational periods.

In this article, the spectroscopic (ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis), electron-dispersing X-ray (EDX), and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR)), microscopic (field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), and atomic force microscope (AFM)), structural (X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and zetasizer), and analytic (thermogravimetric/differential thermal analyzer (TGA-DTA)) characterization of the silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) produced from (PR) L. leaf extract are presented.

Therefore, in this study, the degradation kinetic mechanism of 6-aminopenicillanic acid (6-APA) with OH radical was investigated by density functional theory (DFT) methods.
Methods: For the calculations, different functionals such as B3LYP, MPW1PW91, and M06-2X were used with a 6-31 g(d,p) basis set.
Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have several uses. Many scientists are working on producing AgNPs from plant extracts for use as biomedicines against drug-resistant bacteria and malignant cell lines. In the current study, plant-based AgNPs were synthesized using Raphanus sativus L.

For the synthesis of AgNPs, peel aqueous extract (200 mL) was treated with a 40 mM AgNO3 solution (200 mL) at room temperature, and a color change was observed. In UV-Visible spectroscopy, an absorption peak formation at ~439 nm was the sign that AgNPs were present in the reaction solution.

Therefore, due to its widespread use, this antibiotic is found in wastewater, and it contains long-term risks such as toxicity to all living organisms.
Method: In this study, the degradation reaction of ampicillin with hydroxyl radical was investigated by the density functional theory (DFT) method.
mTORC1, the mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1, is a key regulator of cellular physiology. The lipid metabolite phosphatidic acid (PA) binds to and activates mTORC1 in response to nutrients and growth factors. We review structural findings and propose a model for PA activation of mTORC1.

KRas-driven cancer cells use glutaminolysis to generate the tricarboxylic acid cycle intermediate α-ketoglutarate via a transamination reaction between glutamate and oxaloacetate. We reported previously that exogenously supplied unsaturated fatty acids could be used to synthesize phosphatidic acid-a lipid second messenger that activates both mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) complex 1 (mTORC1) and mTOR complex 2 (mTORC2).

These days, the world is facing the threat of pandemic Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Although a vaccine has been found to combat the pandemic, it is essential to find drugs for an effective treatment method against this disease as soon as possible. In this study, electronic and thermodynamic properties, molecular electrostatic potential (MEP) analysis, and frontier molecular orbitals (FMOs) of nine different covid drugs were studied with Density Functional Theory (DFT).

Its photochemical half-life time would range from a few days to a couple of months under fair-weather summertime irradiation, depending on water chemistry and depth. NB phototransformation gives phenol and the three nitrophenol isomers, in different yields depending on the considered pathway.

Deregulation of SDC1 contributes to cancer progression by promoting cell proliferation, metastasis, invasion and angiogenesis, and is associated with relapse through chemoresistance. SDC1 expression level is also associated with responses to chemotherapy and with prognosis in multiple solid and hematological cancers, including multiple myeloma and Hodgkin lymphoma.

Study Design: Animal experimentation.
In this clinical study, pre- and post-rehabilitation changes in intraborder mandible movements, chewing cycles, masticatory efficiencies, and borders of the chewing area of patients with unilateral muscular disorders (MD) (n = 20) or unilateral disc derangement disorders (DDD) (n = 20) of temporomandibular disorder (TMD) were observed and compared with healthy individuals with full dentition (n = 20) (48 female, 12 male; mean age: 28). The MD patients received stabilization splints and the DDD patients, anterior positioning splints for six weeks. Symptoms, such as muscle pain, TMJ pain, headache, chewing difficulty, and maximum mouth opening, showed significant improvements after splint therapy for both MD (p = 0.

Background: Endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy has been accepted as the most effective treatment for palmar hyperhidrosis (PH). However, there is a debate regarding the surgical techniques in terms of effectiveness, recurrence, and reversibility. In this study, sympathetic chain disruptions were compared in terms of whether the clipping or ablation technique had an effect on the long-term outcomes of patients who underwent thoracic sympathectomy for primary PH.
