Objective: This study aimed to have an instrument for assessing Bahrain healthcare. For such purpose, we used the General Practice Assessment Questionnaire (GPAQ-R2) and a modified shorter version of it, GPAQ-R2-BDF. The GPAQ-R2-BDF was modified based on the healthcare system and the cultural behavior in Bahrain.

Uterine Tumor Resembling Sex-Cord Tumor: A Case Report.

Uterine tumors resembling sex-cord tumors are a rare group of tumors with uncertain etiology and histogenesis. The sex-cord tumors are classified into two groups. The first group includes endometrial stromal tumors with foci of sex cord differentiation less than 50% while the second group is composed predominantly or exclusively by sex cord-like elements.

Computed tomography pulmonary angiography using high-pitch dual-source scanner technology.

To compare use of ultra-fast high-pitch dual-source free-breathing computed tomography pulmonary angiogram (CTPA) with conventional standard-pitch single-source breath-hold CTPA. Methods: This retrospective comparative study was conducted in Radiology Department at King Fahad Military Medical Complex Dhahran, Saudi Arabia from July 2016 to December 2017. Patients (N=130) were divided into 2 groups, each having 65 consecutive patients; Group-1 (single-source CT) and Group-2 (dual-source CT).
