A comprehensive model of health education barriers of health-care system in Iran.

Background: According to the importance of health education (HE) in disease control and prevention and inadequacy of HE in the Iran's health-care system, clarifying the HE barriers is necessary.

Objectives: This study aimed to clarifying the comprehensive model of HE barriers of health-care system in Iran.

Methods: This qualitative study was conducted in 2019.

Development of a comprehensive communication skills curriculum bases on intervention mapping in response to an urgent need for community health workers' education reform: A study protocol.

Background: Communication skills are one of the most important competencies required for community health workers (CHWs); however, there is no systematic evidence-based communication training course for them. In this study, we aim to develop a comprehensive communication skills curriculum for CHWs based on the intervention mapping (IM) approach.

Materials And Methods: We used the IM approach to develop a systematic evidence-based communication skills curriculum for CHWs.

Innovative methods in teaching college health education course: A systematic review.

Background: According to the importance of health education and low capabilities and competencies of health workers related to health education, designing and providing innovative methods for teaching health education is necessary, so the study was designed and done with the aim of reviewing articles related to innovative methods in teaching college health education course.

Methods: A review of published articles was done to included innovative methods on college health education course. The study was done by systematically searching appropriate database including Google Scholar, PubMed, and Science Direct by using keywords.

Marital Satisfaction in Refereed Women to Gorgan Health ‎Centers.

One of the most important goals of marriage is the will to attain marital satisfaction. Marital ‎satisfaction is of prime importance and has the highest effect on the stability and failure of the ‎marriage. This study aimed to investigate marital satisfaction in the women who referred to ‎Gorgan Health centers.

Determinants of Behavior of Students as Pedestrian and Car Occupants in Relation to Traffic Laws in 2013, Gorgan, Iran; An Application of Health Belief Model.

Objectives: To determine the behavioral pattern of Golestan University of Medical Science (GUMS) students as pedestrian and car occupants in relation to traffic law based on Health Belief Model.

Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed during 2012 in GUMS. A total of 370 students of GUMS were selected using multi-stage sampling method  including stratified and  random  sampling.

Epidemiology of animal bite in Aq Qala city, northen of Iran.

Background: Animal bite is one of the problems of public health which has the potential risk of rabies disease. This study was conducted to determine the epidemiology of animal bite in Aq Qala city from 2000 to 2009.

Materials And Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, 13142 cases of animal bites which were recorded in Rabies Treatment Center of Aq Qala City were entered into the study by census method.

Health related quality of life in children with thalassaemia assessed on the basis of SF-20 questionnaire in Yazd, Iran: a case-control study.

Backgrounds: Thalassaemia is becoming serious public health problem throughout the Mediterranean region, Middle East, Indian subcontinents and also South East Asia. Its' global prevalence is about 2 per 1,000 newborns while its' prevalence in Iran is 8-4 per 1,000 newborns. The aim of this study was to compare the Health Related Quality of Life (HRQOL) of thalassaemia patients with the HRQOL of healthy children in terms of essential core domains for pediatric HRQOL measurement.
