Background: One of the most effective treatments for patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) is intravenous recombinant tissue plasminogen activator (rtPA) which can minimize mortality and morbidities. In this historical cohort study, we investigate the factors affecting clinical outcomes after IV thrombolysis for AIS.
Methods: We included 87 patients with acute ischemic stroke who were treated with rtPA between 2015 and 2019.
Multiple myeloma (MM) produces clonal plasma cells and aberrant monoclonal antibody accumulation in patients' bone marrow (BM). Around 1% of all cancers and 13% of hematological malignancies are caused by MM, making it one of the most common types of cancer. Methods: One hundred patients with T2DM (aged 40-75 years old) were randomly assigned into 4 groups (soymilk + probiotics supplement, soymilk + placebo, conventional milk + placebo, and probiotics supplement) for 6 weeks.
Background: Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a difficult to treat infection, particularly in residents of elderly care centers (ECCs). Despite the substantial burden of MRSA, an inadequate number of studies have analyzed MRSA prevalence in ECCs.
Objectives: We conducted a worldwide systematic review and meta-analysis on the prevalence and risk factors of MRSA in ECCs.
Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 is an infectious disease with many presentations, and many of its effects on the human body are still unknown. Pheochromocytoma is a neuroendocrine tumor that may occur sporadically or be a manifestation of a hereditary disease line multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2.
Case Presentation: In this study, we report a case of an Iranian patient infected with coronavirus disease 2019, causing unusual presentations of pheochromocytoma, including myocarditis and cerebrovascular involvement.

Evaluate the lingual manifestations of COVID-19, and provide a clinical guide in managing these symptoms. There is a limited number of clinical studies on interferon (IFN) levels in human brucellosis. The novel group of interferons, type III interferons, which consists of four IFN- (lambda) molecules called IFN-1 or interleukin-29 (IL-29), IFN-2 or IL-28A, IFN-3 or IL-28B, and IFN-4, is not fully known. This study is one of the first studies of IL-28A and IL-29 levels in brucellosis cases at the end of their treatment course.

This paper reports the results of studies performed on a painted stucco fragment excavated at the Ghaleh Guri in Ramavand, western Iran, and dated back to the late Sasanian period (224-651AD). Analytical studies including micro-Raman spectroscopy (μ-Raman), micro-X-ray spectrometry (μ-XRF) and optical microscopy showed that red lead and vermilion were used as main pigments on this fragment. Moreover, carbon black was diagnosed to thinly cover some parts of the red lead.

Methods: In 2008, a randomized clinical trial study was conducted randomly enrolling 120 parturient women with low risk pregnancy into three groups in Shahid Akbarabadi Hospital, Tehran, Iran.
