Background: The success of the root-end procedure depends on the regeneration of the functional periodontal attachment system, including the cementum on the resected root-end surface, periodontal ligament (PDL), and alveolar bone. As root end filling materials remain in close contact with live periapical tissues, they may influence the endodontic treatment outcome.
Aim: To assess and compare the cytotoxicity and genotoxicity of three root repair materials, mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), endosequence, and geristore in human-cultured periodontal ligament fibroblasts.

Context: Previous research has shown the vast benefits associated with BhP. However, the dynamics of cortical activity in connection with Bhramari sound have not been investigated yet.
Aim: To investigate the cortical activity in connection with Bhramari sound.
Objective: The world continues to face the COVID-19 crisis, and efforts are underway to integrate traditional medicine interventions for its effective management. The study aimed to determine the efficacy of the "AYURAKSHA" kit in terms of post-interventional percentage of COVID-19 IgG positivity, immunity levels, and quality of life (QoL) against COVID-19.
Method: This was a non-randomized controlled, prospective intervention trial, done after the distribution of 80,000 AYURAKSHA kits (constituent of Sanshamani Vati, AYUSH Kadha, and Anu Taila) among Delhi police participants in India.
Background: Evaluation of the biomechanical response of tooth with perforation repair is important to attain predictable prognosis. It may remain altered even after perforation repair due to the loss of tooth structure.
Aim: The aim of this study is to assess and compare the effect of pulpal floor perforation repair of different sites with biodentine, on the biomechanical response of mandibular molar through 3-dimensional (3D) finite element analysis (FEA).
Background: AIAPGET 2019, an all India ranking entrance Test for MD/MS courses of Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy stream was conducted by joint collaboration of National Testing Agency (NTA) and All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA). In this article, we present the item analysis of AIAPGET 2019 Ayurveda stream MCQs.
Objectives: The aim of this article was to analyse the MCQs of AIAPGET 2019 of Ayurveda stream.

Legacy Healthcare has developed and patented a topical botanical with a unique mechanism of action, an extensive clinical data package, and excellent safety from the 2.2 million units already sold, all of which has enabled it to enter late-stage clinical development for alopecia areata (AA), chemotherapy-induced alopecia, and soon female androgenetic alopecia. As this drug candidate is very safe, the European Medicines Agency agreed to Legacy Healthcare's request to initiate late-stage clinical trial first in children, the neediest population suffering from AA.

Species-specific PCR techniques are highly sensitive and reliable alternatives to classical methods for malaria diagnosis and speciation, especially in endemic regions under advanced control or elimination programs where asymptomatic and low-density infections are increasingly reported. Nevertheless, the performance of these techniques is directly affected by the quality of isolated DNA templates. A Plasmodium falciparum/vivax-specific diagnostic Nested-PCR (Pƒ/Pv N-PCR) was used to assess three DNA preparation methods, Qiagen® Mini-Chromatographic kit (QIAmp®) and Jena-Biosciences® DNA isolation kit (JB®) for genomic DNA extraction from EDTA-preserved whole blood samples, and Whatman-FTA® purification reagent (FTA®) for DNA preparation from dry blood spots (DBS) collected onto FTA®- cards.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFThe present work highlights the intrinsic catalytic properties of extruded clay honeycomb monolith toward complete oxidation of various air pollutants namely CO, methane, propane, acetylene, propene, n-butene, methanol, ethanol, n-propanol, n-butanol, acetone, dimethyl ether, benzene, toluene, o-xylene, monochlorobenzene and 1,2-dichlorobenzene. Total catalytic conversion was achieved for all tested compounds with different behaviors depending on pollutants' structural and chemical nature. The comparison of T50 values obtained from light-off curves allowed the establishment of the following reactivity sequence: ketone>alcohol>ether>CO>alkyne>aromatic>alkene>chlorinated aromatic>alkane.

This finding allows significant cost reduction, in terms of not only additives and solvents but also the energy consumption required for their elimination by thermal treatment. The extruded monoliths were subject to mechanical strength testing in addition to the study of their thermal behavior, structural and textural properties.
