Peri-operative Considerations in Total Endoscopic Atrial Septal Defect Repair with Robotic Assistance.

The development of minimally invasive techniques represents a significant improvement in the repair of atrial septal defect by total endoscopy. Robot-assisted repair obviates the need for a sternotomy or thoracotomy. This is the case report of a 45-year-old male, who underwent atrial septal defect repair through the total endoscopic technique.
