One of the pivotal mechanisms projected for bioflavonoids in cancer chemoprevention is through their intervention against mutagen-DNA interaction. Recent literatures emphasize the role of troxerutin (TXER) as an emerging anticancer agent. However, there are no reports on its intervention in any carcinogen-DNA interaction.

Materials And Methods: A total of 20 consecutive patients of AES were evaluated for scrub infection using scrub typhus immunoglobulin M enzyme linked immuno-sorbant assay positivity along with the presence or absence of an eschar. Clinical profile, routine laboratory tests, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis, and neuroimaging were analyzed.
A stability-indicating gradient reverse phase liquid chromatographic purity and assay method for duloxetine hydrochloride (DUH) was developed and validated. DUH was subjected to the stress conditions and it is sensitive towards oxidative, acid and hydrolytic degradation. Successful separation of DUH from its two process impurities and one degradation impurity formed under stress conditions was achieved on a Symmetry C18, 250x4.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA novel stability-indicating gradient reverse phase liquid chromatographic (RP-LC) method was developed for the determination of purity of famciclovir (FCV) in presence of its impurities and degradation products. The method was developed using Inertsil ODS 3 V (250 x 4.6 mm, 5 microm) column with mobile phase containing a gradient mixture of solvent A and B.

In this study, 10,040 expressed sequence tags (ESTs) were generated from the latex of the rubber tree, which represents the cytoplasmic content of a single cell type, in order to analyse the latex transcription profile with emphasis on rubber biosynthesis-related genes. A total of 3,441 unique transcripts (UTs) were obtained after quality editing and assembly of EST sequences.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTwo simple, rapid and sensitive extractive spectrophotometric methods have been developed for the assay of trazodone hydrochloride (TRH) in pure and pharmaceutical formulations. These methods are based on the formation of chloroform soluble ion-association complexes of TRH with bromothymol blue (BTB) and with bromocresol purple (BCP) in KCl-HCl buffer of pH 2.0 (for BTB) and in NaOAc-AcOH buffer of pH of 3.

Four ADP-glucose pyrophosphorylase cDNA clones were isolated from mature leaves and pith of sago palm by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique. Three of them (agpp10, agpp12 and agpl19) encoded the AGP large subunit, while the fourth clone (agpl1) encoded the small subunit. agpp10 and agpp12 were isolated from pith, agpl19 was isolated from mature leaves, while agpl1 from both tissues.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA gene (pMON9617; Chi2;1) identified by screening a tomato pistil cDNA library has been found to encode a protein similar in sequence to class II chitinases. Using a baculovirus expression system we show that the Chi2;1 protein is an active endochitinase. The Chi2;1 protein is most similar in sequence to a previously described stylar chitinase (SK2) isolated from potato.

A strong correlation was observed between the onset of cell division and a loss of photosynthetic capacity. For the first 8 to 9 d of culture, there was no change in chloroplast size or morphology.
